We have started a real project, so we need a real plan. The following activities can be listed:

- get information on the internet on this subject, revising, installing, testing this antenna.

- make a design of the neighborhood, the house and the place where this antenna should be installed

- revise all elements, boom, coils, balun, control unit, bearings, and all the welded construction parts

- decide on the final height of the antenna, the tower construction, and the cabling

- build the tower

- create/build the platform of the rotor, and the bearing stud

- build the antenna boom and fix it to the tower

- build and install the radiator element

- build and install all cabling

- build and install al other elements

- elevate the antenna to the final height

- test the antenna impedance and swr with the antenna analyzer.

- connect radio and hit the air,......

 

Conclusion is that we have quite a project. We are looking forward to it !

In the meantime the team is enforced with PA3TEO. His own antenna situation is not that wonderful, so he is looking forward to this project. Welcome in the club,......
