The main boom consists of three parts. One part is the middle section and this is enforced by a parallel boom. The other two parts are connected to the middle section by screwing it together with two screws. They don't have to make electrical contact, but should be fixed very tightly to prevent turning around their axes. All the radiating elements should be horizontal of course.
