Well, I have got the hang of it now. The Director is basically the same procedure. Disassemble, clean, repair, new screws, new shackle, new caps. I found out that one rivet connection was completely rotten. I could push it out without any force. It is clear that we have to check every contact ! I renewed it after cleaning, with a stainless steel bold and nut.
