The question is how to erect an antenna which weighs about a 65 kg in total, is about 9 by 9 meters, with a mast of 6 meters connected to the wall of the house on about three meters high,.....this is the idea.

Because it is Hans's house we let Hans come up with the plan,......HI.

Watch out, this is the idea.

 

The lowest end of the mast will be approx. 3 meter above the ground just above a roof of a (lower) part of the house.

Here a bracket will be fixed to the wall, with a beefy hinge. The other side of the hinge will be welded to the lower side of the mast.

So the 6m mast can rotate in parallel with the wall.

Halfway the mast an eye is welded for a cable to connect. The other side of the cable goes to a winch at the top of the roof. So with one hand in the pocket the mast can be lifted in its vertical position.

In the down position we can connect the boom to it, which is than practically vertical. All the radiators, the Balun, the rotor platform, the rotor itself and the support bearing can be connected to the boom. In two sessions. Three elements and the rest in one position, than lift the antenna, turn 180 degrees and let it down again to connect the other two elements.

Connect the control wire and the coax, and lift everything to its vertical position. Than fix the antenna to the other brackets.
